PRIVACY POLICY


This Privacy Policy describes the information that THP and its subsidiaries collect about users and how we use that information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites, applications or services that display or link to a third-party Privacy Policy. At THP, we respect our customer’s privacy.

All use and communication is intended to help inform customers about THP, our services and products and other relevant industry information. SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you download or purchase something from our website or our third-party marketing tools we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, company, address and email address.

When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our website, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information by completing a request for information, download or purchase, verify your credit card, place an order we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

  • any company within the THP group of companies for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, (e.g. global information and customer relationship management; software and service compatibility and improvements; and to provide you with any information, applications, products or services that you have requested);
  • our service providers and agents (including their sub-contractors) or third parties which process information on our behalf (e.g. internet service and platform providers, payment processing providers and those organizations we engage to help us send communications to you) so that they may help us to provide you with the applications, products, services and information you have requested or which we believe is of interest to you;
  • third parties used to facilitate payment transactions, for example clearing houses, clearing systems, financial institutions and transaction beneficiaries;
  • third parties where you have a relationship with that third party and you have consented to us sending information (for example social media sites or other third party application providers);

We may share non-personally identifiable information about the use of our website, applications, products or services publically or with third parties but this will not include information that can be used to identify you.

 

SECTION 4 – MARKETING

From time to time, we may use your information that you provided us with your consent to contact you with details about our applications, products and services which we feel may be of interest to you. You may also request at any time that we do not share your information with third parties referred to in this paragraph.

You can also unsubscribe from any email marketing using the links provided in the emails we send to you. We may share your information with third party platform providers (such as Facebook, Google and Twitter) to serve targeted advertising/content to you via the relevant third party platform based on your profile/interests.  Your information is used by the third party platform provider to identify your account and serve advertisements to you.  You can control what advertisements you receive via the privacy settings on the relevant provider’s platform and you should consult the third party’s help/support centre for more information.

 

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

SECTION 10 – VISITORS FROM EUROPE

Personal data in the European Union is protected by data protection laws but other countries do not necessarily protect your personal data in the same way.
